The US government, alongside the actively progressing AI industry, has embarked on a new journey to form a panel, consisting of the world’s leading technology companies and their chief executives, aiming to better understand the power of the technological tool and the capabilities the sector has.

Among the panel’s other members are the CEOs of technology providers and suppliers such as Amazon Web Services, IBM and Cisco; chipmakers such as AMD; AI model developers such as Anthropic, and others. This panel was an executive decision issued by Joe Biden. He sought out officials for the very purpose of understanding this tool better.

Various other local, federal, and national experts gathered to form the 22 member panel. The panel compromised of various subsidiary members, including researchers, analysts, and simple professors. The subsidiary members are yet to be disclosed, but seemingly, they are very talented and knowledgeable members, those who were considered worthy of, and personally recruited by the White House and the US governing federal body.

The US government wants to enrich their knowledge on AI and utilize it better, more accurately, and more efficiently in various other aspects. Currently, the US incorporated artificial intelligence in over 200 parts of the US.

Another concern that has led to the development of this panel is with the negatives of AI. The negatives include fake fragmentations, copies of Biden’s voice, earlier, that urged Democrats not to vote in New Hampshire’s primary. The following concern details that numerous foreign adversaries could benefit, manipulate, and exploit this technology for their national benefits.

Personal opinion: The US’s interest in AI and proactiveness in engaging in this area proves to be a great precedent for other nations. Personally, this event would allow other countries to acknowledge the presence and capability of AI. This would add resilience and reliance into the sector and promote better AI usage, help nations constitute appropriate AI usage, and generally allow better implementation and incorporation of this technological tool.

Global Impact: This, most definitely, would provoke other leading foreign adversaries to pursue their own methods of showing their interest in this newly emerging AI sector. China, Russia, Iran, and various other nations, during recent summits and conferences have already stated their willingness and readiness to explore this new area.
