Harris, during her first presidential visit to Wisconsin, emphasized her goals of building up the middle socioeconomic class. She clearly distinguished her economic goals to reinforce if she were elected, making the public favor towards her case.

The inside chaos of the Democratic Party could not be gleaned at all from Harris’s demeanour or performance during this speech. According to the White House and CNN Political Department critics, she remained professional and calm throughout.

Within 36 hours of Biden’s statement of offering his position to fellow vice president Kamala Harris, she secured enough commitments from Democratic National Convention delegates to win the internal nomination.

For fundraising for her campaign, she secured over 100 million from 1.1 million different donors — 62% of them first-time contributors.

Her Wisconsin trip, she emphasized as her way of gathering support to emphasize what won Biden last year, and what she hoped would be a strong wall for her to win this year. Wisconsin is of the three “Blue Wall” states, alongside Pennsylvania and Michigan, and marking this trip, it is Harris’ fifth there this year and ninth since becoming vice president.
